International Medical Aid is currently recruiting highly experienced public-health professionals to work in our posts in South America and East Africa. Every year, IMA selects a group of interns in the Fall, Spring and Summer to join our team on projects in Haiti, South America and East Africa. From the outset, our interns are intimately involved in planning, coordinating and ultimately implementing full-scale medical campaigns in one our target countries. IMA’s interns are also involved in developing new and innovative software that better integrates our operations in the field. These internships often involve extensive travel to areas of the developing world.
While there are no set requirements for prospective candidates, IMA selects less than five percent of all applicants. Our Interns often represent the brightest leaders from universities around the world.
