Nutrition Placement/Dietetic Internships

International Medical Aid presents unique opportunities for undergraduate and graduate students in dietetics, as well as registered dietitians and nutritionists, to work in bustling international hospitals under the guidance of our exceptional team of dedicated nutritionists and other healthcare professionals. We partner with a comprehensive network of public and private hospitals to offer engaging, hands-on programs designed to match each intern and volunteer’s unique abilities and educational backgrounds. IMA focuses on enhancing the well-being of underserved individuals in the regions where we operate through initiatives such as community medical clinics, public health education programs, and first responder training. Kenya Medical Internships

Interns will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced physicians and healthcare professionals in hospitals and clinics in various countries around the world. They will gain first-hand clinical experience in a wide range of medical specialties, including but not limited to internal medicine, emergency medicine, surgery, dermatology, and oncology. Additionally, interns will have the opportunity to observe medical procedures and surgeries and participate in patient rounds.

The program was developed at Johns Hopkins University and is designed to provide a comprehensive learning experience for interns. It combines hands-on clinical experience with classroom instruction, allowing interns to gain a deep understanding of medical theory and practice. The program is customized to meet the unique needs and goals of each intern, and provides opportunities for personal and professional growth.

IMA is a non-profit organization that provides Dietetics Internships and Nutrition Internships abroad for students and professionals in underserved communities worldwide. We believe that everyone deserves access to quality healthcare, regardless of their location or socioeconomic status. Our internships are designed to provide participants with the opportunity to gain clinical experience in a global healthcare setting while also making a positive impact on the lives of others.

Our interns work in dynamic international hospitals and clinics under the mentorship of our team of experienced nutritionists and other healthcare professionals. Internship Placements
