Interns will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced physicians and healthcare professionals in hospitals and clinics in various countries around the world. They will gain first-hand clinical experience in a wide range of medical specialties, including but not limited to internal medicine, emergency medicine, surgery, dermatology, and oncology. Additionally, interns will have the opportunity to observe medical procedures and surgeries and participate in patient rounds.

The program was developed at Johns Hopkins University and is designed to provide a comprehensive learning experience for interns. It combines hands-on clinical experience with classroom instruction, allowing interns to gain a deep understanding of medical theory and practice. The program is customized to meet the unique needs and goals of each intern, and provides opportunities for personal and professional growth.

Internship Placements

IMA partners with a variety of public and private healthcare facilities to offer diverse and rewarding internship placements for our Healthcare and Pre-Health Interns. Depending on your specific interests and skills, you may have the opportunity to work in settings such as:

Neurology
Neurology

Neurology focuses on the diagnosis and treatment of disorders of the nervous system. Students will gain an understanding of conditions such as epilepsy, multiple sclerosis, and stroke, and will learn about neurological examinations and diagnostic tests.
