AMSA Alliance Organization Member

International Medical Aid and AMSA

Our AMSA Alliance organization-member listing and the articles we publish for pre-health and medical students.

About Our Involvement

IMA in the AMSA Alliance

The American Medical Student Association (AMSA) supports students preparing for and studying medicine. Its AMSA Alliance platform connects students with organizations that serve them, through a member directory and articles written by those organizations.

International Medical Aid appears in the AMSA Alliance directory as an AMSA Organization Member, and we publish articles on the platform about healthcare internships, pre-med planning and alumni experiences. The listing showed 10 IMA articles when we last checked it on October 26, 2026.

An AMSA Alliance organization-member listing is not accreditation, does not mean AMSA endorses each IMA program and does not change any school’s admissions or experience requirements. The directory listing linked above shows the current description of the relationship.

For Students

What Pre-Health Students Can Take From These Resources

A good clinical experience helps you ask better questions about patient care, access to healthcare and professional responsibility. On IMA internships, students learn alongside clinical teams under supervision, at a level that matches their training, and take part in health education and community outreach. They do not diagnose, prescribe or perform invasive procedures.

Review program eligibility, dates, supervision, housing, safety and fees on IMA’s program pages. Each medical, PA and health professions school sets its own admissions and experience requirements, and an organizational listing does not give any applicant an admissions advantage.
