International Medical Aid, a non-profit organization established at Johns Hopkins University, coordinates pre-optometry/optometry internships abroad for undergraduate pre-health students, graduate optometry students, and licensed optometrists in regions with the greatest need: East Africa, South America, and the Caribbean.
