Dental Internships

International Medical Aid presents exceptional Dental Internships for dentists, dental hygienists, dental school students, and pre-dentistry undergraduates. These internships provide students with the opportunity to work in bustling international healthcare environments, guided by our exceptional team of dedicated dentists and other healthcare professionals. Developed at Johns Hopkins University, these programs collaborate with a comprehensive public and private health facility network, enabling interns to apply their skills to enhance community health while gaining practical experience. IMA focuses on improving the well-being of underserved individuals through community dental clinics and public health education programs, as dental care in developing countries is less prevalent. The absence of sanitation infrastructure and proper hygiene practices creates a significant demand for dental services in these areas. We work diligently with local leaders to establish ethical and sustainable community-driven initiatives that address the root causes of disease and illness.
