Asante Sana, Kenya: My Transformative Dentistry Internship Experience with International Medical Aid
IMA has built an incredibly tight-knit family and makes you feel like one of their own. There is nothing more refreshing or reassuring than having a smile greet you at every moment of the day, telling you that you belong here and your hands are helping change lives. You can only begin to understand the gravity of what you are accomplishing once you step out of your comfort zone and into the world of service and education. There is not one thing I would change about my experience and I am glad to be coming home with a wealth of knowledge, strong friendships, and an even stronger initiative for helping others.
