Alexandra Bengstonn
H-Farm International School

I truly felt like this internship was greatly organized, from the contact I had with my mentor before entering Kenya to the pick up at the airport. The transport was very good and I really think that the orientation day was very useful. Everyone really at the residence were always happy to explain and give tips of what to do in your free time to information about the hosiptal and the community outreach. I remeber the food and hospitality always being great. Me and my friends helped Erastus baking some delicious desserts and the kitchen staff was always super friendly and helped us when we needed hot water for instance. Before my internship, I had been super excited for all of the community outreach programs and I was not one bit dissapointed. All of them were truly so fun to have been a part of and I did really like that there is one community outreach program a week and a medical clinic. This was especially meaningful for someone who was only able to stay there for two weeks. My mentor Christabel and Margaret and Hilda were all super nice and I really enjoyed having them their.
