Application Fee

$50 for Schools of Allied Health Professions, Dentistry, Medicine, and Nursing
$30 for Schools of Graduate Studies and Public Health

Payments should be made to LSU Health Sciences Center. Certain programs may require an acceptance deposit, which will be credited toward registration fees.

Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree: $25
Master’s Degree: $50
Doctorate or Professional Degree: $100

Additional fees apply for duplicate diplomas or if a diploma is ordered but not earned. A $20 fee is also applicable for thesis or dissertation binding.

Transcript Fee

$7.25 per official transcript

Transcripts are issued upon meeting financial obligations. Requests can be made on LSUHSC Registrar.

Payment Guidelines

Tuition and other charges must be paid prior to the start of classes. Deferments are allowed for those with pending financial aid, under certain conditions. Students failing to meet financial obligations will be dropped from the rolls after 14 days. If the debt is settled within that period, the student may be reinstated.

Admission of Nonresidents

Nonresident applicants will be charged nonresident tuition and fees for the entire period of their enrollment.

Delinquent Accounts

Unpaid balances will be referred for collection, and students will be responsible for any associated fees.

Communication: You’ll receive the Secondary Application via email. All communication will be sent to the “Preferred” address on your AMCAS application and designated email.
